First Scheduled Commercial Airline Flight

1914 - The world's first scheduled commercial airline flight occurred in Florida on January 1st, 1914. Young aviator Tony Jannus made history when he flew the world's first scheduled passenger service airline flight from St. Petersburg's downtown yacht basin to Tampa.
